Bocce's Back on Vinoteca's Plaza

Missy Frederick is the Cities Director for Eater.

Vinoteca's Plaza bar has reopened for the season, which means bocce, hot dogs and new drinks for those who visit the wine bar.

This spring, the restaurant has expanded its grill menu, which means more homemade hot dogs, burgers and other grilled items. Chef Lonnie Zoeller has added items like the "Who Dat Doggy" (a boudin pork dog), a spicy veggie dog, and a pizza dog. They're $7 each, or $6 at happy hour. There are several burger varieties, too, including a pork burger and a mushroom burger. Look for beef skewers, grilled cauliflower and other items.

Meanwhile, on the drinks front, there are spins on the Caipirinha, a play on the gina nd tonic, a "Sidecar's Sidekick" and other items. The bocce court will be open Wednesday-Friday from 5-close and weekends from 11-close (bocce leagues have them reserved Mondays and Tuesdays). Happy hour runs daily.
