SHIRLINGTON— Capital City Brewing Company has added a line of gluten-free cocktails to its Shirlington location. They're fruity drinks, like the Calypso Cooler (rum, peach schnapps, orange juice) and the Cherry Pop (Jim Beam Red Stag, Sprite, grenadine). They're $10. [EaterWire]
CAPITOL HILL— Just in time for baseball season, the Strasburger is back at Tortilla Coast. The burger, named for Nats player Stephen Strasburg of course, includes two honey chipotle-glazed beef patties, Jack cheese, onion strings, chipotle dressing and more. It's $11.37 with fries. [EaterWire]
K STREET— Bobby's Burger Palace just retooled its menu. There's still no D.C. burger, but there are now four new burgers added to the permanent menu, including the Carolina Burger (with BBQ sauce), New Mexico Burger (queso and green chiles), Vegas Burger (BBQ chips, cheese and chiles) and the Brunch Burger (fried egg, bacon and cheese). The Bobby Flay restaurant has also added mint chocolate chip and mocha caramel shakes, as well as a griddled pimento cheese and bacon sandwich and a "half and half" side order option. [EaterWire]
