Few desserts inspire "love it or hate it" passion quite like Peeps. For those in the "love" camp, Pinstripes has something to try this Easter.

The restaurant and bowling alley's chef, Laurence Cohen, is making a homemade spin on the marshmallow treat for the restaurant's upcoming Easter Brunch, where they will be included in the price. The brunch will feature Nutella and bananas foster waffles, a chocolate fountain, prime rib and other items ($30 adults, $15 kids). The restaurant is also planning an egg hunt throughout Georgetown and selling Easter baskets for charity.

Will other restaurants get into the homemade Peeps game this year? Time will tell. Neighborhood Restaurant Group pastry chef Tiffany MacIsaac has posted a recipe for them on her blog. On a related note, Eamonn's is planning to bring back its deep fried Cadbury eggs closer to Easter.
