1) Catoctin Creek Bartender Series
Where: Catoctin Creek Tasting Room

When: Saturday, 12-4 p.m.
What: Local distillery Catoctin Creek has been hosting D.C. bartenders in its tasting room. Their job: to create cocktail flights showcasing the distilleries whiskey and gin offerings. Brett Robison of Republic mans the ship this weekend.
2) All-You-Can-Eat Pork
Where: Local 16

When:Saturday 5-9 p.m.
What:Local 16 is running a fundraiser for Funk Parade. A $15 ticket gets guests two beers and all-you-can-eat pig. More details (and tickets) here.
3) Celebrate Jefferson's Birthday
1200 16th St NW
What:Plume has been celebrating Thomas Jefferson's birthday over the past several days with a special menu. The dinner features roasted striped bass, white asparagus confit and more. Here is the full menu.
4) Truckeroo is back
Where:Half and M Sts SE
When:Friday, 11 a.m.-11 p.m.
What: D.C.'s spring and summer food truck festival returns to Navy Yard today. They've got more than 20 food trucks selling items there, plus live music, cornhole and more. It's all near Nationals Stadium, too. More info here.
5) DC Beer Festival
1500 South Capitol St SE
When:Saturday 1 p.m.-4 p.m.
6 p.m.-9 p.m.
What: The D.C. Beer Festival comes back to Nationals Stadium this weekend. More than 60 craft breweries will be sampling 120 beers. There will also be games, DJs and some food items. It's $40 per session. Food is separate, but a ticket means unlimited servings. More info here.
