TKO, Compass Rose, Four Sisters Grill, More Opening

1) U Street: The anticipated Compass Rose restaurant opens today with its eclectic, world-focused menu. The striking restaurant from owner Rose Previte will serve street food dishes from chef John Paul Domato. Status: Opening today. 1346 T St. NW; website.

2) Northeast: It's time for TKO Burger to deliver a knock-out punch to Rhode Island Row. Lance London's burger joint, adjacent to the new Carolina Kitchen, has a boxing theme to its design. There are several burger styles, from Jerk burgers to fried green tomato burgers, plus sides and drinks. Status: Opening today. 2350 Washington Place NE; website.

3) Arlington: Four Sisters Grill debuts today. A worker answering the phones says their hours today will be 11-3 p.m. for lunch and 5-9 p.m. for dinner. This is a fast casual restaurant from the owners of the beloved Merrifield Vietnamese place, Four Sisters. Banh mi, rice dishes, noodles and salads are on the menu. 4) Centreville: Ciao Osteria is scheduled to open today. Northern Virginia Magazine has a report on the restaurant, which will serve pizza (they hope to become Neapolitan certified). Status: Opening today. 14115 St. Germain Dr., Centreville; website.
