Missy Frederick is the Cities Director for Eater.

Airport dining in D.C. has been getting more and more interesting. The latest announcement, from concessions company OTG: D.C.'s Robert Wiedmaier is working on a restaurant for Terminal A of Reagan National Airport.

Wiedmaier's company, Sugartoads Restaurant Consulting Group, is at work on a Provencal restaurant that will emphasize French country cooking. It will source meats, fish and produce locally. Wiedmaier is the chef behind such local restaurants as Brasserie Beck, Marcel's and Mussel Bar.

ICRAVE is handling the design of the restaurant. Seats at the restaurant will all have iPads and power outlets so guests can order their meals and use the internet while they're eating. The restaurant (no name yet) will open in summer 2015. Reagan is slated to get several new restaurants, including Ben's Chili Bowl, Taylor Gourmet and more.
