STK's VIP Opening: The Night in Twitter Reactions

New, 4 comments
Missy Frederick is the Cities Director for Eater.

STK, the "female-friendly" steakhouse chain from The One Group, held a red carpet, VIP opening party last night and attendees on Twitter had a lot of feelings about it.

The night featured big crowds, a photo booth, seafood platters and a VIP-only area (with VIP-only sliders). Reggie Love and Paul Wharton of the former "Real Housewives of D.C." were there, along with a play-along drum set, D.J. and more. STK is scheduled to officially open to the public today at 1250 Connecticut Ave. NW.

There were raves about the party. There were complaints about the party. There were hashtags: #STKproblems, #FCKSTK, #STKTakesDC and #unmiSTKable, among others. Here's what folks were saying about it — the good and the bad.
