Liquor Bar to Have Leather Booths, Lots of Scotch

Douglas Development has released some more information about Liquor Bar, the bar from the Acqua Al 2 owners coming to 600 F St. NW.

The bar from Mindful Restaurants (that's Ari Gejdenson's restaurant group) will be located in the downstairs of the Oriental Building Association building. It will have round leather booths, brass finishes, and a European look, according to a press release. Expect a solid Scotch selection, cocktails, craft beer and a small food menu.

A late summer opening is planned for Liquor Bar. Meanwhile, here's another interesting tidbit from the release: Gejdenson will open Sotto, a cocktail bar beneath Ghibellina, in September.
