Del Campo Has a Bloody Mary with Squid Ink, Octopus and Fish Stock

Del Campo's weekly Pisco Bar kicks off on Thursday on the patio, and one addition to the cocktail menu is particularly intriguing. There are two Pisco-based Bloody Marys being offered, but one is quite unique — it features squid ink, fish stock and more.

The Pantera ($12) is made with Sol de Ica Acholado Pisco, lemon, fish stock, red onions, celery, squid ink, applewood smoked tomato juice, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, pepper, Moldova salt and grilled rocoto (a type of pepper). It's black in color, and garnished with an octopus tentacle (don't worry; it doesn't turn the drinker's mouth black). The less adventurous can sample the Del Campo Bloody Mary instead ($10) — it's also Pisco-based, but is a much more basic recipe.

Del Campo's Pisco Bar kicks off Thursdays, starting this week, starting at 5 p.m.. Additionally, the restaurant will be offering Argentinian grilled pizzas, with toppings like grilled onions, olives and mortadella and an asado pizza with sweetbreads and chorizo. Those will be on the patio on a daily basis.
