One of the area's few remaining old school diners has closed. 29 Diner in Fairfax closed up shop sometime this month. A message on its website reads, "The Diner is now for rent. No further information is available at this time." Several pictures of the diner with "Closed" and "For Rent" signs are posted, too.
The diner had been in business since 1947.
