"Rustic industrial." That's how co-owner Frank Hankins describes the look of his upcoming restaurant, Brookland's Finest, opening soon in the Brookland neighborhood. The restaurant features exposed beams and brick, plenty of natural light and concrete and metal accents. "We wanted it to be a comfortable and functional set-up," he said.
Brookland's Finest should open its doors in about two weeks or so. The restaurant's health inspection should come by Friday of this week or early next week. Chef Shannan Troncoso will oversee a comfort food menu there.
