ShopHouse's expansion in the D.C. area shows no signs of stopping. The restaurant's Chinatown location opened yesterday and concept developer Tim Wildin tells Eater there are more on the way.
Along with the previously announced Rockville location, a ShopHouse will open in the Columbia Mall in Maryland as well. The restaurant group is also in talks to open in Union Station, though it's not a done deal yet.
The Chinatown location is the area's fourth to open. On Day Two, lines stretched out the door, despite the rainy weather. The restaurant introduced its first seasonal vegetable yesterday as well: wok-fried kale. They'll have a new addition in the summer months; Wildin tells Eater summer squash may replace the current eggplant offering.
