1) Northeast: Washington Business Journal spots a permit for Ivy City Tavern, coming to 1356 Okie St. NE. They'll have a seafood menu, a two level space and a rooftop garden. [PLYWOOD]
2) Ballston: Pizza Vinoteca will open in Ballston. ARLNOW says the New York-based restaurant chain is coming to 800 N Glebe Road. There are wines, panini and gelato in addition to pizza. [PLYWOOD]
3) Ballston: Also Ballston-bound: Sweet Leaf Cafe, WBJ reports. The local salad and sandwich chain (not to be confused with Sweetgreen) is looking to open by summer. [PLYWOOD]
