Glover Park is Getting a Beer Garden

Glover Park residents can soon down an Atlas beer outdoors while snacking on bratwurst and chicken fingers. The Glover Park Beer Garden opens today. It will run for the summer only on the outside patio of the Savoy Suites Hotel.

The beer garden will have 15 bottled beers, five draft beers and a full bar (with speciality cocktails). Snacks will range from burgers to chicken fingers, along with calamari and dessert. They'll have two televisions for sports watching, too. Expect beers ranging from traditional brews like Amstel Light and Guinness to New Belgium Fat Tire and the Atlas Rowdy Rye.

Find the beer garden at 2505 Wisconsin Ave. NW; it opens at 5 p.m. weekdays and noon on weekends.
