Get a Look at the Chic Embassy Row Hotel Roof Deck

The Rooftop [Photos: Official]

After a half-million dollar renovation, The Rooftop at the Embassy Row Hotel in Dupont Circle is now ready to reopen (well, next Tuesday, anyway). The more than 4,000 square foot terrace has a 450-foot swimming pool, a lounge area with cabanas, and food offerings ranging from fish tacos to local sausages.

Visitors to The Rooftop should be able to view everything from the Washington Monument to the National Cathedral from the destination. Carlo de Leon (who recently appeared on Hell's Kitchen) designed the menu for the location, with items including a ramen burger, kale salad, soft grilled pretzels and plenty of cocktails.

The new look for The Rooftop comes courtesy of HVS Design and Jonathan Nehmer & Associates. It's part of a $15 million renovation for the hotel itself. People can access The Rooftop by becoming members of its pool club, by staying at the hotel, or by buying a $25 day pass at the front desk.
