Mount Pleasant restaurant and bar Tonic and its sister cocktail bar, Last Exit, have closed. The Tonic location in Foggy Bottom remains open. The restaurant posted this message on its Facebook page:

To our wonderful patrons:
After ten great years, Tonic of Mt Pleasant (and Last Exit) has closed.

Eater has reached out to the restaurant's publicist for any further information. Meanwhile, The 42 has details on what will replace it: Goodall's Organic Bistro, a restaurant from Mt. Pleasant resident Will Warren. It promises to be seasonal and vegan-friendly.
