Naturally Belga, B Too are Getting Into Tuesday's Match

When D.C. residents think "Belgium," it's hard not to also think "Bart Vandaele." So naturally, the chef behind B Too and Belga Cafe is getting pumped for tomorrow's World Cup face-off between the U.S. and Belgium.

The restaurants already had a World Cup menu in place, but they're offering some additional specials as well. They're going to do a Stella Artois vs Budweiser internal competition to see which country's beers sell better in each restaurant. Both beers will be available by the bottle and by the bucket. They'll also be giving away Stella glasses, raffling off a World Cup jersey and opening the waffle bar window at B Too to sell Hoegaarden, Stella and Budweiser to those drinking on the patio.

Meanwhile, there's another friendly wager going on, between B Too and neighboring restaurant The Pig. One lucky guest from whichever restaurant's country wins gets dinner paid for by the other restaurant. The USA vs Belgium match begins at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
