It's Officially Food Truck Week in D.C.

The first DMV Food Truck Week kicks off today and will involve brewery events, a food truck "supper club" and an outlet mall truck takeover.

Events begin this afternoon with Alexandria's Food Truck Rodeo, a preview of trucks that will enter the city under its pilot program. Other event highlights include Food & Brew Saturday, with trucks scheduled to appear at Chocolate City Beer, Atlas Brew Works and Port City. There's also a "Petworth Food Truck Supper Club" at 9th and Upshur Streets Thursday evening, and more.
