Soul foods specialists Creme open in their new 14th Street location tonight for dinner. They'll be offering happy hour right away as well. The restaurant, beloved for its brunch, chicken and waffles and other classic dishes, had to relocate due to redevelopment. Creme originally opened in 2004 from restaurateur Tegist "Teggy" Ayalew. Their new location within the Capitol View building has been built with sustainable materials and to be energy efficient. Status: Opening today. 2436 14th St. NW; website.
