One of D.C.'s most well-known pastry chefs appears to be back in action. Neighborhood Restaurant Group Tiffany MacIsaac appears poised to debut Buttercream Bakeshop, serving D.C., Maryland and Virginia.
The business has a Facebook page. Right now it's teasing followers with delicious-looking photos of special occasion cakes, cookies and macarons. There does not appear to be a storefront (yet, anyway).
Eater has reached out to MacIsaac for any additional information. The chef, who left NRG in June, is also scheduled to make an appearance this Friday at the Anju pop-up at Mandu, and will appear in The Dish, a Capital Fringe Festival play about the D.C. food scene.
