GRK, Serving 'Yeeros' to Open July 18

Ok, they're not making it open quite in time for Meat on a Stick Power Hour. But a rep sends word that GRK, the new, vowel-challenged fast-casual Greek restaurant opening in Dupont Circle, is getting close to mock service, and looks ready to open by next Friday, July 18.

The restaurant serves gyros (or as they market them, "yeeros"). They've got big rotating towers of chicken, pork, and a lamb and beef combo, all made in-house (there's a portabello option, too, but hey, it's The Five Days of Meat). They'll also have beer and wine. Look for them at 1140 19th St., NW.
