Michelle Obama Had Brunch at Open City

Even Michelle Obama can make the time to fit in a casual brunch every once in awhile. A rep from Open City sent a photo of the First Lady grabbing brunch at Open City in Woodley Park Sunday.

"We feel so lucky that POTUS and FLOTUS have visited both The Coupe and Open City," said spokeswoman Jocelyne DeHaas via email. "She's all class, Michelle Obama, and it's so cool to see that she's just like the rest of us and enjoys a weekend brunch."

Obama ordered eggs over medium, cheese grits and wheat toast. She also had a bite of one of her friend's hash browns, and told the staff she loved them. President Barack Obama visited sister restaurant The Coupe back in January and, naturally, ordered a burger.
