What Will Happen to the Old Beau Thai in Shaw?

It's no secret that Beau Thai is moving to larger digs in Shaw. But what will happen to the existing location.

PoPville speculated earlier today that a noodle shop may replace the restaurant when it moves to a bigger location at the Jefferson Marketplace Development. Eater reached out to Beau Thai co-owner Ralph Brabham for more details.

"We can't confirm any other details (notably, who's behind it or what's planned) just yet," said Brabham. "I can say our spot at New Jersey and R will get a makeover and a new concept after we move Beau Thai to 7th and P. I think folks will be happy with the changes in store." Brabham couldn't confirm whether Beau Thai's owners would still be involved with the new concept.
