Baruch Ben-Yehudah, the owner of the Everlasting Life vegan restaurants in D.C., is rebranding one vegan restaurant and opening another new one in Takoma this summer.
Evolve Vegan Restaurant has replaced an Everlasting Life at 341 Cedar Street NW. It serves vegan takes on dishes such as mac and cheese and fried "chick-un." The restaurant will add some new lunch options and cocktails, too.
Later this summer, Vegaritos Burrito Cafe will open at 6904 4th St. NW. The fast-casual restaurant will have a Chipotle-style set-up with customizable burritos, as well as a juice and smoothie bar. It will be a carryout place.
