Have a Beer at the New Amsterdam Falafelshop

Missy Frederick is the Cities Director for Eater.

Here's one thing the 14th Street Amsterdam Falafelshop has going for it over the original: alcohol.

The restaurant announced today it will serve beer (mostly from Amsterdam) alongside its other offerings. Varieties will include 12-ounce cans of Heineken, Heineken Premium Light, Amstel Light and the seasonal Amstel Radler, along with Oranjeboom, a Dutch lager brew, in 16-ounce cans.

The Adams Morgan Amsterdam location is knowing for helping to prevent a hangover; looks like the newest one is going in the other direction.
