Washington Firehouse will be all about mussel pots when it opens in late August or early September. The American steakhouse is planning a variety of pots featuring the mollusk, including a Cajun pot and a musroom and meatball one.
Catering and events manager Jessica Henderson reached out to Eater to share more about the project, which hopes to have a soft opening August 29 if all goes as planned. The restaurant within an old firehouse will have steaks such as a grilled Wagyu beef tri-tip, as well as pizzas and lasagnas from chef Peter Prime made in a stone oven.
Washington Firehouse also hopes to serve as an events space for holiday parties, weddings and more.
