Granville Moore's will kick off a summer-long beer tasting series on Tuesday, hosted by Matt LeBarron, who they call the restaurants "Professional Intoxicator."
The series is geared towards entry-level craft beer drinkers, rather than the experts. Those who attend will get to sample several Belgian-style beers. They will host two one-hour sessions (at 6:30 and 8:30 p.m.) each week. Classes are $25 per person, and four beers are featured each week. Reservations are required.
The first class is focused on Belgian Hops, featuring such beers as Gouden Carolus Hopsinjoor, Poperings Hommel, Houblon Chouffe and Hopus. Other subjects range from Trappist beers to sours. More information is here; the full schedule is online as well.
