Fogo de Chao, 7 p.m., Friday

Missy Frederick is the Cities Director for Eater.

Welcome back to the photo series Eater Scenes, where Eater photographer Rey Lopez captures restaurants in action at a certain, and very specific, point in the day. Here, Lopez visits Fogo de Chao, which tends to always be bustling on a Friday evening.

If one wants to picture epic amounts of meat in D.C., they really only need to head to one place: Fogo de Chao. The Brazilian steakhouse, with locations all over the country, allows Penn Quarter visits to sample just about every meat imaginable. With its glassy salad bar, tower of wine, multiple floors and waiters gamely carrying out meat on a stick for customers to try, the place is quite the visual experience as well.
