The team behind Red Apron and The Partisan are expanding into the space next door to their Mosaic District sandwich and butcher shop with B-Side, a mini-restaurant and bar.
B-Side will seat 50 people and open in September. Neighborhood Restaurant Group beverage experts Jeff Faile, Greg Engert and Brent Kroll are all involved with the project, which will have a 15-seat bar serving cocktails, beers and wines.
On Nathan Anda's menu: bar snacks, rotisserie chicken, steak frites, and a dish called The Mosaic Burger (with Italian beef, provolone and giardiniere. They'll also have breakfast for dinner, Taco Tuesdays and other nightly specials like pot roast and bacon meatloaf night. And there will be charcuterie, though not quite as extensive a selection as the one at The Partisan. Find B-Side at 8298 Glass Alley Suite 105. It will open daily at 4 p.m.
Red Apron's menu will stay the same during the day, though it may shrink slightly during dinner service. Meanwhile, Red Apron's menu will be available at B-Side during the day on weekends, according to a spokeswoman.
