Brookland Pint's Arrival Means a Craft Beer Infusion

Missy Frederick is the Cities Director for Eater.

The owners of Meridian Pint and Smoke & Barrel open their latest project in Brookland today.

Brookland Pint will have a historically-influenced decor (with an emphasis on the women's movement), USB and electrical plugs for almost every table, and plenty of beer.

There are 24 craft beers available, with seating for 118 indoors and 48 outside. Chef Rebecca Hassell has a menu of American foods with a local emphasis. The Juniper Room is a banquet room with tables made from wood from the Virginia Juniper tree. The restaurant will serve brunch, lunch and dinner and be open late night. Status: Opening today. 716 Monroe St. NE; website.
