José Andrés Opens Two Restaurants in Las Vegas

Photo: SLS Las Vegas

It was a big weekend for chef José Andrés, who opened two restaurants in Las Vegas. Both are within the SLS hotel (the Beverly Hills hotel of the same name is the home to Andrés' Bazaar and other restaurants).

The restaurants are Bazaar Meat, a relative temple to all things meat including whole suckling pigs and a tartare bar. Meanwhile, Ku Noodle focuses on hand-pulled and cut noodles. Head on over to Eater Vegas for more details.

Could pizza be next for the megachef? When visiting the hotel's 800 Degrees Pizza, the chef said on Facebook, "Sorry @McDonalds sorry @Dominos, the future of fast food is here." It was an intriguing quote given the chef seems poised to launch his own fast-food venture, but there's still no official word on what that might be.
