With Nostalgic Beer Comes Nostalgic Prices at Bardo

Bardo Brewpub is already catering to fans of its former 90s Clarendon location with its no-frills atmosphere and homemade beers. Now, they'll do so with their pricing as well.

To mark its newly-made beers (the first were made about two weeks ago) and the 20th anniversary of its first incarnation, the restaurant is pricing its beers at $3.45 per pint and $9.91 per pitcher (for a limited time). The restaurant's inaugural tapping is scheduled for Aug. 8, showing off such beers as an IPA, stout, ginger beer and pale ale.

When Bardo opened 20 years ago, it occupied 22,000 square feet in a former car dealership space. The restaurant's new beers will use new techniques, like wood-aging and smoking malts.
