PENN QUARTER— Corporate chef David Deshaies has been promoted to general manager and partner at Central Michel Richard (he'll remain as chef as well). He'll oversee a new Sunday brunch (debuting Sept. 21). The restaurant will also add an all-day dining menu in the bar, lounge and patio. [EaterWire]
ADAMS MORGAN— Jack Rose is doing various events in honor of National Bourbon Heritage Month, which means a different distillery is being featured every Thursday in the upstairs balcony (along with special pricing).
