After working at Petworth Citizen and helping open Crane & Turtle, local mixologist Kristi Green is now signing on as beverage manager at Osteria Morini. In her new role, Green will develop cocktails that highlight Italian spirits and complement Osteria Morini chef Michael White's cuisine. In addition to creating Italian riffs on classic cocktails —like a Paloma with Aperol and prosecco — Green is also working on adding non-alcoholic cocktails that feature cold-brewed teas.
Green's D.C. resume also includes stints behind the bar at Firefly and Vinoteca Wine Bar and Bistro. She is an active member of DC Craft Bartenders Guild and is pursuing becoming a certified Master Sommelier from the Court of Master Sommeliers.
