DC Harvest, the farm-to-table restaurant scheduled to open on H Street NE today, is aiming for a "modern farmhouse" feel. Designers Edit Lab at StreetSense have accented that idea with such design details as natural colors, eye-catching light fixtures and wooden beams throughout the two-level restaurant.
The restaurant is from industry veterans Jared and Arthur Ringel. They're aiming to be unpretentious and family-friendly. Dinner service starts today; brunch will launch next week. Status: Opening today. 517 H St. NE; website.
