Here's a bit more intel on the planned Oklahoma Joe's Bar-B-Que locations headed to Washington.

DCist talks to the chain's chief marketing officer, who says the restaurant will serve a mix of barbecue classics, like ribs and briskets, and more creative items, like smoked turkey and barbecue bologna. They hope to announce the specific locations next month, with one opening in Washington and another in the suburbs.

The restaurant revealed its intention to open in D.C. last week. The restaurant has been given such accolades as "The Manliest Restaurant in America" from Men's Health and the "Best Ribs in America" from U.S.A. Today. Even president Barack Obama has tried the barbecue there.
