Room 11 has a new chef in Tim Rowley.
Rowley has previously worked in such kitchens as Vermillion, Bibiana, Tallula and Beuchert's Saloon. According to general manager Jessica Woods, the new chef has put more of a seasonal emphasis on the menu, and is working with local farmers and artisan cheese makers. He's also working to integrate the dinner menu with the restaurant's coffee and cocktail programs.
That means dishes like a coffee-rubbed burger. A Four-Barrel rubbed camembert cheese, aged with the restaurant's coffee beans at Great Cheese Company in Baltimore, will soon appear on the restaurant's cheese plates as well. The restaurant introduced a Taco Choco last week as well.
