Carla Hall may have picked New York for the first location of her planned restaurant train, but she hasn't forgotten about D.C.
The local cook and personality (and Top Chef alumnus) tells The Washington Post that D.C. will be the home of the second location of Carla Hall's Southern Kitchen. It will open in 2017 if all goes as planned (no location was revealed). She's launched a Kickstarter pageto raise funds.
News of Hall's New York plans broke yesterday. The chef is also planning a restaurant at Reagan National Airport.
