Swann Dive — the forthcoming bar also known as Saloon 45 —was denied a liquor license reports Prince of Petworth. The consensus was that this would probably be the case. The reason? The combo of the bar's location (the corner of 18th St. NW and Swann St. NW) and proposed outdoor seating would lead to "...loitering and other patron-related disturbances..." in the residential area.
