Native Foods, a Chicago-based vegan fast-casual restaurant, opens its first location in the District this coming Tuesday, reports The Washington Post. Located at the corner of 18th St. NW and M St. NW, the spot will serve meat-free dishes like Native "Chicken" Wings, a vegan reuben and a burger made with tempeh. Another DC location, in Penn Quarter, will also be opening soon — within weeks of this one. [WaPo]
