1) U Street: The second Thai-Xing debuts tonight. The restaurant confirms that the new location will have a bar for alcohol purchase, but the original location will move to BYOB with a $3 corkage fee (wine only). The new spot is not taking reservations yet, but will starting doing so in the next 24 hours through its website. Status: Opening Tonight. 2020 9th St. NW; website.
2) Mount Vernon Triangle: Tel'Veh had plans to reposition itself as a Rudy's a few weeks back. Now, PoPville says they have switched back to Tel'Veh. RunInDC says that's because the restaurant needs to do some repairs, so right now the deal is on hold. Status: Reopened for now. 401 Massachussetts Ave. NW; website.
3) Dupont Circle: Native Foods Cafe has opened its doors in Dupont today as expected. The restaurant caters to the vegan crowd, with spins on burgers and chicken wings, sans meat.
