Spike Mendelsohn is Hosting a Testicle Cook-Off

The Festicle. It sounds like "testicle." And of course, that's intentional.

Spike Mendelsohn's new events company, Spike'd Events, is throwing the gathering on Sunday, Sept. 21 from 1-9 p.m. at the Half Street Fairgrounds. There will be circus performers, micro-wrestling, music, aerial artists and more.

Oh, and testicles. Mendelsohn, Erik Bruner-Yang and Tim Ma will compete in a testicle cook-off, done Top Chef-style. Other food items will include sushi popcorn, chicken-and-waffle-on-a-stick and other carnival-inspired stuff. Plus, a Maketto pop-up is happening. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door.
