2) BaJeng

What: This Thai-influenced pop-up event offers a multi-course menu of Thai dishes. Pricing depends on number of courses. Tickets here. UPDATE: Looks like it's sold out.
3) Bell's Takeover/Anti-Resolutions Event
When: Friday starting at 5 p.m.
Where: The Black Squirrel

What: The bar is encouraging drinkers to forsake their resolutions, offering ten speciality beers from the brewery, a duck confit cigarette spring roll (in lieu of weed) and a super caloric burger with bacon, pork belly and mac and cheese.
4) Ice Yards
When: Saturday 2-6 p.m.
Where: Yards Park
What: The Yards development is embracing the cold with this 21+ event. There's an ice bar with cocktails, a "frosty" beer garden, live music and a DJ, Absolut snow cones, a hot tub, video games, fire pits and more. Food vendors like Takorean, 100 Montaditos, Agua 301 and Nando's are slated to appear. More here.
5) Try sablefish at DGS

Where: DGS Delicatessen

What: The restaurant is offering smoked sablefish (only an occasional special) this weekend. They cure it and hot smoke it over low heat, then brush the fish with wildflower honey and rub it with paprika.
