Menu items at the new Bethesda Barbecue Company range from the classics, like beef brisket, burnt ends and pulled pork, to the less traditional, including bacon pops, pimento cheese puffs and even a hot dog.

The replacement for Newton's Table is officially open, serving up specialty cocktails and margaritas alongside barbecue fare. Here's the full menu.

The restaurant is open for both lunch and dinner. It's a collaboration between manager David Smelson and Newton's Table chef Dennis Friedman. Status: Certified open. 4917 Elm St. Bethesda, Md.; website.
