Fire at Bar Civita Space; Ramen World Tickets on Sale

WOODLEY PARK— The former Murphy's space suffered fire damage over the weekend. That's where Bar Civita is opening. PoPville talks to chef Liam LaCivita, who says the damage will delay the restaurant's opening, but not by much. [PoP]

WATERFRONT— The Wharf Intercontinental Hotel is aiming to open in Southwest D.C. in 2017. Washington Business Journal reports its restaurant with a glass wall that opens toward the waterfront. [WBJ]

BETHESDA— Mark Bucher, the man behind BGR and Medium Rare, is opening Community, a diner, in a new building in Bethesda. It will serve breakfast all day. [BM]
