Casa Oaxaca Will Close in Adams Morgan

The owners will still operate Guajillo and Don Lencho.

Adams Morgan restaurant Casa Oaxaca, which celebrated the cuisine of that region of Mexico, will close its doors. Its last day of business will be Friday.

The restaurant operated for more than seven years in the neighborhood. An email blast announcing the closing did not specify a reason for the shutter. They did say, though, that the owners plan to open a new concept elsewhere.

Casa Oaxaca will be running food and drink specials during the last week of business. Rosslyn's Guajillo and Manassas' Don Lencho, both from the same owners, will remain open. The company also plans to expand its catering business.
