Trial of Alexandria Chef Accused of Rape Moves Forward After Death of Accuser

A chef in the D.C. area has been charged with two counts of rape, abduction and abduction with intent to defile. His accuser (his former fiance) was originally the main witness in the Fairfax trial, but later committed suicide. The judge allowed her testimony, given before her death, to go forward yesterday, according to a report in The Washington Post.

The accused, Charles Albert "Trey" Massey II, years ago worked at such restaurants as Restaurant Eve and Society Fair, according to the report. The case began in 2013.
