PARK VIEWAfter two years in Park View, Mothership is shutting down next month, Young & Hungry reports. Chef and owner Stephan Boillon told the Washington City Paper that the reason for the closure is that business was down and that the "critical mass of customers just wasn't there." After taking a few weeks off, Boillon will bring his El Floridano sandwich truck back out of retirement. [WCP]

ADAMS MORGAN— Pasta Mia isn't going anywhere. Despite rumors of a closure, the pasta destination (which often draws long lines) has been able to sign a long-term lease to stay in its location. [Washingtonian]

FALLS CHURCH— Guess it worked out. Northern Virginia Magazine reports that 2941 chef Bertrand Chemel will continue to run both Pizzeria Orso and his signature restaurant, now that a trial period is over. Former chef Will Artley is now at BLT Steak. [NoVa Mag]

ALEXANDRIA— The Majestic in Alexandria, which is now in search of a new chef and new operators, is hiring. Patch says the menu will likely change now that Shannon Overmiller has departed. [Patch]
