Vigilante Coffee Co.'s Popping Up Next Week at Impala Cantina Y Taqueria

H Street is still waiting on Maketto, but Vigilante Coffee Co. is coming to the neighborhood starting Jan. 16. The coffee company is partnering with Impala Cantina Y Taqueria to launch a pop-up cafe inside of Impala at 1358 H Street NE. They'll be serving coffee, and doughnuts too, with a heated patio space for customers. And note to dog walkers: the pop-up will have a sidewalk walk-up window for ordering. The pop-up's hours will be Friday to Sunday, 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Vigilante Coffee Co.'s retail director Austin Redington tells Eater that there's no time frame on the pop-up right now — the plan is to keep it going until Vigilante opens their permanent H Street home across the street at Asian retail market and restaurant Maketto.
