Pinkberry may find a second life in D.C. The frozen yogurt company's local franchisee filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection, closing all seven of its Washington-area stores. But Washington Business Journal reports a company spokesperson says they consider D.C. a strong market and are looking at ways to reopen stores.
Cupcake company Crumbs followed a similar pattern, filling for bankruptcy but then reopening such locations as Union Station.
Editor's Note: It was the local franchisee who filed for Chapter 7, not the company itself.
